JANITOR (Cleaner)

Job Description & Requirements

1. Cleaning and Maintenance

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.

• Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.

• Empty trash bins and replace liners.

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms: toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.

• Clean and sanitize break rooms, kitchens, and common areas.

2. Facility Upkeep

• Monitor and report any maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures, electrical problems).

• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.

• Ensure proper functioning of cleaning equipment and report malfunctioning tools.

• Assist with minor repairs (changing light bulbs, tightening screws, etc.).

3. Safety and Hygiene

• Follow proper safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ensure cleaning activities do not obstruct walkways or pose hazards.

• Comply with workplace hygiene and safety standards.

• Respond to spills or emergencies promptly to prevent accidents.

4. Support Tasks

• Assist in moving furniture or equipment during office/room rearrangements.

• Help with setting up rooms for meetings or events (chairs, tables, etc.).

• Report to supervisors on cleaning schedules, supply needs, or any facility issues.

5. Administrative Duties (if required)

• Maintain cleaning logs or checklists.

• Track inventory of cleaning supplies.

• Coordinate with vendors or maintenance staff for specialized cleaning or repairs

  • Work Location : Jurong Island & West side

    Working Days : 5 Days/week
    Working hours : 7.30am-6.00pm & 7.30 to 5pm (vary from work location)
    Overtime if Require Overtime will be paid
