Responsibilities:
- Ensure the stability and reliable operation of POS systems, network infrastructure, and IT systems.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting support for IT hardware and operational systems.
- Administer and monitor Windows and Linux server environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply and manage regular security patching to maintain system security and compliance.
- Support infrastructure maintenance activities, including upgrades and enhancements.
- Promote and support best practices in system usage across the organization.
- Execute and monitor patch management processes to ensure timely updates.
- Participate in planning and implementation of new systems and technology initiatives.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and external partners.
- Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and users to resolve issues and ensure effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, purchases, and lease information.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting (L1 level).
- Exposure to cloud environments is an added advantage.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
