IT System Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support and technical assistance to end users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Perform hardware replacement, repair, and basic software installation.
• Handle IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities for IT equipment.
• Support user account and domain-related activities, including joining and removing computers from domains.
• Assist with data backup, file transfers, and IT equipment setup.
• Maintain IT asset records, equipment tagging, and documentation.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and IT equipment health checks.
• Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, printers, laptops, desktops, and IT peripherals.
• Basic understanding of networking, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and IT ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to assist end users.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
