IT Support Specialist

About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic team at Nuffield Holdings Private Limited as an IT Support Specialist. In this full-time position based in Macpherson Central Region, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve a wide range of IT-related inquiries and issues from our users in a timely and efficient manner

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems

• Provide first-line support and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems and applications

• Coordinate with vendors and other IT professionals to address more complex technical problems

• Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles

• Assist with the implementation and testing of new IT systems and applications

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, preferably in a similar industry

• Experience supporting multi-site environments is highly preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users

• Familiarity with common office productivity software, hardware, and network technologies

• Demonstrable ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies
