Job Description

Our client in the legal industry are looking for an IT Specialist to join their IT team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical support to employees, helping them resolve issues with computers, laptops, printers, phones, mobile devices, and other office technology.

You will install and maintain IT equipment, support meeting room technology, and ensure employees have the tools they need to work efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for computers, laptops, printers, scanners, phones, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests through the ticketing system.
  • Set up and configure computers, laptops, phones, and other devices for new and existing employees.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Support meeting room technology, including video conferencing and audiovisual equipment.
  • Assist with office moves, workstation setups, and IT equipment installations.
  • Coordinate repairs with external vendors when required.
  • Keep IT asset and inventory records up to date.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and equipment changes.
  • Help test new software, system updates, and technology solutions.
  • Monitor device performance and assist in resolving technical issues.
  • Work closely with other departments to support workplace technology needs.
  • Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when needed.
  • Experience supporting users in a professional services environment.
