About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Intern (6 to 9 months) to join our team to provide essential technical assistance to our users located in the office, retail outlet and warehouse. You will gain practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and peripheral, asset management and Microsoft 365 license and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing first-line technical support to end users via telephone, email and in-person assistance
• Troubleshooting and resolving common IT issues including hardware, software and connectivity problems
• Installing, configuring and maintaining IT equipment and systems under supervision
• Creating and maintaining documentation of IT issues, resolutions and user requests
• Assisting with user account management and access rights administration
• Supporting the rollout of IT projects and system updates
• Learning and applying best practices in IT support and customer service
• Provide IT support during Company events and other ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed ITE or Polytechnic in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of computer systems, networking concepts and common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms
• Customer service orientation with patience and professionalism when assisting users
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced support environment
• Willing to travel to retail outlets/ warehouse as required
• A keen interest in technology and genuine enthusiasm for learning new systems and tools

Internship Terms

• Duration: Minimum 6 months, Maximum 9 months
• Working Arrangement: Full-time internship
• Working Days: 5 days per week
• Monthly Internship Allowance:
• ITE: SGD 600/-
• Polytechnic: SGD 800/-
