Job Description
- Deliver first-level technical support and troubleshooting by addressing user queries, incidents, and service requests through the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine system health checks and monitoring to proactively detect issues, minimize downtime, and maintain operational stability across supported products and systems.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and best practices to build and maintain a structured knowledge base that supports continuous improvement and faster problem-solving.
- Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to second-level support or specialized teams, while ensuring clear documentation and communication for smooth handover.
- Process procurement requests and coordinate with vendors to source IT products, services, and solutions, while maintaining effective supplier relationships and ensuring timely delivery.
- Track project budgets and milestone payments by preparing payment documentation, monitoring expenses, and generating regular financial reports and reconciliations for management review.
- Maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation for both technical operations and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and governance standards.
Requirements
- Possess Diploma or Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong IT troubleshooting capabilities, basic networking knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite experience with data analytics is a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent documentation abilities, and strong project tracking skills to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting.
- Basic understanding of financial processes, including monitoring budgets, processing requests, and preparing simple reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with colleagues, vendors, and end-users.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent support, address user queries, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
