Job Overview
You will be deployed to our client who is a leading government technology agency driving digital transformation and innovation in the healthcare sector. You'll be responsible for providing technical support to end users, assisting with hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems. This role involves responding to service tickets, performing system maintenance, and supporting the implementation of new systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users, including VIP support.
- Provide Level 3 support and coordinate with vendor IT teams.
- Identify BAU gaps and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency.
- Maintain and optimize end-user devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices) and perform periodic system maintenance such as patching.
- Ensure smooth integration, compatibility, and continuous operation of systems with minimal disruption.
- Deploy, configure, and update software applications for end-users.
- Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for end-user devices and data.
- Participate in end-user computing projects, including technology deployments and platform migrations.
- Liaise with vendors for project execution, application testing, and patch/upgrade support.
- Track project schedules and ensure timely delivery.
- Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and procedures.
- Prepare monthly reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years experience in relevant field, with at least 3 years experience in End User Computing Project Delivery and/or Day to Day Operations Support
- Proven ability to provide technical support for large-scale environments with thousands of users.
- Prior experiences in handling VIP users
- Excellent interpersonal skills and take initiative in their work
