work in collaboration with several internal technical company's associates, 3rd party IT Support Team and potentially International counterparts. Your roles and responsibilities will span, 1) Application Support, 2) Help Desk operations, 3) Device management, 4) Cloud Microsoft tenancy/software support/management.
skills and requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, or a Professional Certificate/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering Computer/Telecommunication)
- A minimum of 5 years in a corporate IT environment.
- Experience in providing ICT end user support through a variety of channels including telephone, remote desktop and face-to-face,
- Ability to install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Ability to monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Ability to troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Ability to identify and replace parts as required either working directly or via a 3rd party.
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Ability to support the roll-out of new applications
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Respond and/or co-ordinate responses to incidents and requests tickets raised within the service desk within agreed time limits
- Microsoft Office 365 subscription administration
- Active Directory Administration (User/Group creation and password resets)
- Provide support in assisting with key events requiring technology (e.g. Town Halls)
- Microsoft Azure administration
- Mandarin speaking required as you will need to liaise with China counterparts who can only speak and write in Mandarin
