Key Responsibilities

  • IT planning and procurement.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors and 3rd part suppliers.
  • Provide users with hardware/software support including network, Server and PC troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and proactively improve the IT infrastructure of the company to avoid disruptions to operations. The infrastructure covers office equipment like personal computers, network, servers, printers.
  • Manages, administers and provides support for network infrastructure and network/firewall/VPN change requests.
  • Manages IT infrastructure related projects and services.
  • Overall responsible for procure and maintain inventory of the necessary hardware.
  • Escalation point for IT operations matters, pertaining to system, network and voice services.
  • Manage network capacity and email administration such as creating/maintaining user ids and email addresses.
  • Responsible for the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement, monitor, and maintain IT security controls, including endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, escalating as appropriate.
  • Regularly review and update access controls, ensuring compliance with company security policies.
  • Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct periodic security awareness training programmes for all employees.
  • Plan and execute regular simulated phishing campaigns to assess and improve employee vigilance.
  • Coordinate and organise audit RFI (Request for Information) items, working closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain documentation and evidence required for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Track and follow up on audit findings and remediation actions.

Policy & Procedure Enhancement:

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to review, update, and enhance IT policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all IT documentation is current, accessible, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Qualifications Diploma/Degree in BSc or BEng in Computer Science/Infocommunication/Internetworking or related disciplines.
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of relevant experience in network & Internet services, computer & mobile devices and information system.
  • In-depth hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches network equipment as well as FortiGate firewall and its implement in corporate as well as hosting networks.
  • Linux, Mac and Windows Admin skills.
  • Good knowledge in managing and configuring virtualization environment, KVM, Hyper-V, Vmware.
  • Admin experience in Office365, LDAP, Active Directory, AzureAD.
  • Experience with various open-source monitoring tools.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Teamworking skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with IT security frameworks, compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, MAS TRM), and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience in delivering security awareness training and running phishing simulation campaigns.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing audit documentation and compliance evidence.
