IT Support Engineer – Desktop & Laptop Provisioning

We are looking for a motivated Fresher IT Support Engineer to support the provisioning, imaging, and deployment of desktops and laptops for end users.

This role is ideal for candidates starting their IT career and looking to gain hands-on experience with enterprise IT environments, hardware setup, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

Provision, image, and configure desktops and laptops for new hires and existing users

Install and configure operating systems, standard software, and enterprise applications

Perform device setup including domain joining, user account configuration, and security policies

Coordinate with IT teams to ensure devices meet company standards before deployment

Troubleshoot basic hardware, OS, and software issues during provisioning

Maintain accurate records of assets, device assignments, and inventory

Assist with device refreshes, replacements, and decommissioning

Follow documented IT procedures and imaging standards

Provide basic end-user support during device handover

Required Skills & Knowledge

Basic understanding of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware components

Familiarity with OS installation, imaging, or system setup concepts

Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WiFi)

Willingness to learn enterprise tools and IT processes

Good communication and documentation skills

Ability to follow processes and work with checklists

Education

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
