Description
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring efficient and effective IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Document issues and resolutions in a ticketing system for tracking purposes.
- Collaborate with IT team members to improve systems and processes.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience with help desk software and remote support tools.
- Strong understanding of hardware components and peripherals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
