IT Storage Project Manager (Contract)

About the client:

Our client is a Reputed Technology Company. They are looking for a highly skilled Storage Project Manager to lead the implementation and management of storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various storage solutions, including PowerEdge, PowerScale, VMAX, and PowerMax. They will be responsible for providing technical expertise, managing projects, and ensuring seamless integration of storage systems.

• Provide technical expertise on PowerEdge rack servers, including their capabilities and use cases
• Develop and deliver training sessions on PowerScale nodes workflow, node model details, and adding new nodes to the cluster
• Compare and contrast structured and unstructured data on PowerScale
• Explain the application of Isilon with Big data and data management and security features
• Describe the physical architecture of Isilon and its OneFS operating system
• Discuss PowerScale concepts and their relevance to storage management
• Compare and contrast VMAX and PowerMax array models, including configuration options and hardware components
• Describe the VMAX All Flash and VMAX3 family of arrays, including their features and use cases
• Explain serviceability access and activities for PowerMax
• Identify hardware components and provide an introductory understanding of VMAX All Flash Solution
• Summarize software offerings for PowerMax and provide an overview understanding of the hardware platform

Requirement:

• Strong project management skills to lead storage infrastructure projects
• Strong technical expertise in PowerEdge, PowerScale, VMAX, and PowerMax storage solutions
• In-depth knowledge of PowerEdge rack servers, PowerScale nodes workflow, and Isilon technology.
• Ability to compare and contrast structured and unstructured data, as well as data management and security features
• Experience with VMAX and PowerMax array models, including configuration options and hardware components
• Strong understanding of the physical architecture of Isilon and its OneFS operating system
• Ability to explain PowerScale concepts and their relevance to storage management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
