The IT Specialist will be responsible for the overall planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions within the organization. This includes managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, overseeing hardware and software assets, leading system development initiatives, and leveraging data analysis to support business objectives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to: . IT Infrastructure Management: o Ensure the security, reliability, and availability of all IT systems and data through regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and robust cybersecurity measures. o Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies. o Administer and maintain office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace) and other essential business applications. . Hardware Troubleshooting & Support: o Provide expert-level support for all hardware-related issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. o Perform diagnostics, repairs, upgrades, and replacements of hardware components. o Manage IT asset inventory o Oversee and manage external vendors for hardware repair and maintenance services as needed. . System Development & Project Management: o Collaborate with various departments to identify business needs and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements or new solutions. o Manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified requirements. o Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software solutions to improve business processes and efficiency. o Oversee the integration of various systems to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency . Data Analysis & Reporting: o Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop strategies for data collection, storage, and retrieval. o Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights, identify trends, and generate reports that support business decision-making. . Leadership & Management: o Liaise with HQ IT team o Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. o Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding IT matters. o Conduct IT training to all staff Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
