IT Specialist (Business Applications) - 2 Years Contract

This 2 years contract position plays a key role in architecting, integrating, and enhancing NKF's information systems to support a fully unified digital environment. You will oversee application development efforts, recommend system modernisation strategies, and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. The role includes supervising and guiding application teams, engaging with stakeholders, and staying abreast of emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for technical governance, requirements validation, solution design, quality assurance, and vendor management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide endtoend technical architecture oversight for all IT systems and develop a longterm technology roadmap.

• Oversee systemtosystem integrations, including interfaces with external agencies such as AIC, CPF, MOH, Synapxe and DBS.

• Guide and support application teams across multiple domains including Finance, HR, Medical, Clinical, Volunteer Management, and Donation Management.

• Drive the adoption of new technologies and lead planning and supervision for upgrading existing systems.

• Support the IT Manager in developing a sustainable workforce strategy to meet increasing IT demands with limited resources.

• Consolidate, track, and report on overall project resources, schedules, and deliverables.

• Facilitate and coordinate IT projects through all phases-from initiation and requirements gathering to implementation and release.

• Engage stakeholders regularly to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and address concerns.

• Provide expert advisory on the business and operational impact of technical decisions.

• Communicate and present updates on emerging technologies and propose relevant improvements for the organisation.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Computer Studies or related field

• More than 7 years of IT project management experience.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing full SDLC or agile implementation projects.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 10 years of strong technical experience with latest Microsoft technologies.

• Experience in healthcare is preferred.

• Experience integrating with government agency or healthcare systems is advantageous..

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong organisational and leadership capabilities.

• Effective interpersonal skills for engaging users across all levels.
