We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Security Officer with a strong background in IT risk management and cybersecurity within the banking industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and mitigating IT risks, possess sound knowledge of Singapores regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor compliance with local regulatory guidelines (e.g. MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene) and internal Head Office policies related to IT risk and cybersecurity. Ensure that internal controls and policies are robust and aligned with industry best practices.
- Continuously evaluate the branchs IT risk profile, ensuring risk mitigation activities are in line with business priorities and risk appetite.
- Draft, review, and implement IT security policies and procedures that meet regulatory and Head Office expectations, and evolve with changing business and technological needs.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, as well as regulators such as MAS, to support audits, inspections, and reviews. Ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management and Head Office, covering IT security posture, compliance updates, and remediation progress.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in IT security, IT risk management, or IT audit within the banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth understanding of Singapores regulatory framework, including MAS TRM, Cyber Hygiene, and PDPA.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
