Job Description
The role supports the assurance and governance activities of the Project Management Office (PMO).
This role ensures projects follow defined processes, meet quality standards, and deliver accurate and timeline reporting to leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate adherence to project management frameworks and standards, alignment with PMO standards.
- Report QA findings with recommended actions to Project Manager.
- Identify systemic issues and propose enhancements to PMO processes.
- Assist in developing QA templates, checklist, audit criteria.
Note that this is not a product/ system tester role.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Project Management, PMO QA or IT Audit.
- Experience with financial institutions or regulatory projects preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile.
- Proficient in project management and reporting tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or MS Project.
- Familiarity with IT change and release management processes.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI or similar reporting tool expertise.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Highly organized, assertive with good negotiation and problem-solving skills to deal with situations of differing opinions.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance standards, and frameworks is a plus.
- PMP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC or equivalent certifications, or ITIL is an added advantage.
