We are partnering with a signature client who has a reputable brand name and have been recognised as one of the industry leaders in their field. We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about delivering excellence in IT and engineering project delivery.
Your Role:
You will oversee the full project delivery lifecycle for large-scale IT and engineering projects, including contract negotiations, risk management, financial budgeting, cost control, project scheduling, scope management, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement. You'll ensure quality, cost-effective service delivery while managing technical and service relationships with customers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple strategic project activities and manage complex IT and engineering projects from start to finish.
- Oversee all phases of turn-key project delivery, including requirements gathering, design, development, construction, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans with clearly defined roles, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Manage project budgets to maximize revenue and margin while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish risk management frameworks and proactively manage changes with impact analysis and contingency planning.
- Build and lead high-performance delivery teams, providing effective leadership and motivation.
- Maintain proactive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing escalations.
- Participate in pre-sales activities and collaborate with solution teams on RFP development.
What You Bring:
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of experience managing large-scale IT and engineering integration projects and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of government security standards is advantageous.
- Professional certifications (PMP, CITPM, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects in government and/or commercial sectors.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Experience in large-scale program management, including budgeting, financial management, resource management, and quality assurance.
- A hands-on attitude and proven staff management capabilities.
