We are supporting a leading Financial Services organisation in Singapore in hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to drive front-to-back (FO/MO/BO) technology projects across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development team responsible for enhancements and maintenance of critical trading systems.
- Act as the primary operational liaison point between the Singapore office and the joint venture team in China.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of system enhancements and technology initiatives across APAC, managing roadmap, timelines, and prioritisation.
- Partner closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, validate business cases, and translate needs into clear technical specifications.
- Own project documentation including requirements, functional specifications, and project plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional technology teams involved in solution design, development, testing, and release.
- Oversee the full change management cycle, ensuring adherence to internal governance and quality standards.
- Prepare test cases, conduct functional testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Lead project delivery for system releases and ensure timely, high-quality deployment.
- Troubleshoot and assist with day-to-day system issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Complete mandatory compliance and technical training as required.
- Uphold high standards of integrity, diligence, and professional conduct in all duties.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong experience as an IT Project Manager within Financial Services (banks, brokerages, trading firms, or financial market infrastructure organisations).
- Hands-on experience delivering trading platform enhancements and FO/MO/BO workflow projects.
- Solid background in business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution scoping.
- Excellent stakeholder management across regional and global offices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
