IT Project Manager - Leading Global Financial Institution

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their leading global financial services organisation in Singapore.

This role sits within a regional technology team supporting major initiatives across Asia, with exposure to senior stakeholders, front-office technology, regulatory change, and emerging technologies including AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end IT project delivery supporting business and technology initiatives across Asia
• Drive business analysis, feasibility studies and impact assessments for new projects
• Manage and track a portfolio of technology initiatives supporting Sales & Trading / Equities
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and identify opportunities for improvement
• Identify and support use cases for AI, GenAI, automation and data analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making
• Coordinate with Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Control teams throughout testing, deployment and implementation
• Deliver business expansion, product and regulatory change initiatives from analysis through to implementation
• Manage project pipelines, prioritisation, governance, reporting and risk management
• Support the adoption of technology solutions while ensuring alignment with governance, data privacy, regulatory and technology risk requirements
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies and progress to senior stakeholders across regional teams

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in IT Project Management, financial services, or management consulting
• Strong hands-on experience managing technology projects within financial services / capital markets
• Knowledge of Sales & Trading, Equities, Finance, Operations, Technology, or Regulatory Change
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle (PLC), SDLC, technology delivery, system integration and data flows
• Experience with AI, GenAI, automation, data analytics, or other emerging technologies in enterprise environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
• Experience working across regional / international teams is preferred
• Knowledge of Asian markets, exchanges, securities, derivatives or securities lending is advantageous
• Experience delivering large-scale regulatory or business change initiatives within capital markets is a plus
