IT Operational Change & Release Lead, Insurance Technology (Singapore)

A technology-driven insurance organisation is seeking an IT Operational Change & Release Leadto establish and manage a practical change and release capability within a lean technology environment. This role will ensure technology changes across applications, infrastructure, and database platforms are delivered safely while maintaining the agility required by the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the technology change and release management capability.
• Coordinate technology changes across application, infrastructure, and database environments.
• Ensure changes are implemented safely with appropriate risk assessment and governance.
• Introduce practical processes, tools, and workflows to support efficient change coordination.
• Maintain transparency and communication across technology teams and business stakeholders.
• Support release planning and scheduling to ensure smooth deployment of system updates.
• Monitor change activities and ensure alignment with operational stability and business priorities.
• Drive continuous improvements in change and release practices within a lean technology environment.

Key Requirements

• At least 10+ years of experience in technology operations, application delivery, or IT service management.
• Experience implementing and managing change and release management processes.
• Experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services environments preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise application ecosystems and infrastructure platforms.
• Understanding of database-driven environments such as Oracle or similar platforms.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus or similar solutions.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and operational problem-solving skills.
