Yumstone eSolutions Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based technology solutions provider specialising in F&B POS systems, QR ordering platforms, payment integrations, cloud deployment, and enterprise system integration.
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead IT architecture planning, system integration, infrastructure management, and technical project oversight. This is a core technical leadership role responsible for ensuring high system availability, security, and performance across company and client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall IT architecture planning for POS systems and client infrastructure environments.
- Design and implement high-availability system architecture and cloud deployment strategies.
- Develop and enforce IT security, data protection, and backup policies.
- Oversee Microsoft SQL Server database architecture design, optimisation, and disaster recovery planning.
- Analyse system performance bottlenecks and implement improvement strategies.
- Lead integration of payment gateways, third-party APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Manage technical implementation projects to ensure timely delivery and system stability.
- Supervise and mentor system engineers and technical staff.
- Establish technical standards, documentation processes, and operational procedures.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 escalation support for complex system incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, system engineering, or technical management.
- Proven experience in system architecture design and enterprise infrastructure planning.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewall configuration).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience in project management or team leadership.
- Ability to independently manage technical decision-making and implementation strategy.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in F&B POS systems or retail IT environments.
- Experience with payment gateway or fintech integrations.
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Batch, SQL).
- Experience managing production environments and mission-critical systems.
