Title: IT Manager
Report to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Role Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the Chamber's IT infrastructure, systems and services. This role ensures the reliability, security and performance of enterprise platforms, supports end-user devices, manages vendor relationships, and leads development and automation aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Manage hybrid IT infrastructure, including cloud services and modern server environments.
- Oversee network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) to ensure secure and stable connectivity.
- Administer data backup and recovery processes for internal and off-site storage.
- Maintain and support point-of-sale systems and access control platforms.
- Provide hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.
- Support telephony systems, audio-visual equipment and copiers.
- Drive technology innovation to enhance operational efficiency and support digital transformation.
Applications & Web Support
- Oversee and support enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, HR, Finance systems) and manage software implementations, upgrades and integrations.
- Develop and maintain web applications to support operational workflows.
- Manage SharePoint sites, web content and intranet resources.
Security & Compliance
- Establish, enforce and update cybersecurity policies, procedures and controls.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, security protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT systems administration, applications support and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Intune, SCCM, Azure AD and endpoint security tools.
- Strong understanding of server environments, cloud services and enterprise software.
- Proficiency in web development, reporting tools and workflow automation platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and vendor management skills.
