About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven IT Manager to lead our IT team in Singapore. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure that our company's technology operations run smoothly. You will manage a team of IT professionals, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and play a key role in supporting the company's growth through effective technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of company hardware, software, networks, and systems.
- Develop and execute IT strategies to align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data, systems, and network infrastructure.
- Manage IT budgets, including forecasting and cost management for software, hardware, and IT projects.
- Collaborate with senior management and other departments to define IT needs and design technology solutions.
- Oversee system and network upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, best practices, and standards for data security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and innovations to recommend improvements and ensure the company's systems remain competitive.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and evaluating third-party IT service providers.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for IT operations and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role, with a proven track record of leading IT teams.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network systems, hardware, software, and security.
- Proficiency in managing enterprise-level IT systems, including cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and on-premise solutions.
- Experience with data protection regulations, such as PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) and GDPR.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage complex IT challenges.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in IT budgeting and cost management.
- Knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT security protocols.
Preferred:
- Experience with IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other business-critical applications.
- IT certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are highly regarded.
