Job Description

Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and resolve issues for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices across various operating systems including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
- Apply basic security hygiene on managed devices through patch management, antivirus enforcement, and screen-lock policies.
- Provide in-person helpdesk support and troubleshooting services.
- Manage office networking equipment such as routers, switches, and access points, alongside physical structured network cabling.
- Oversee general workplace technology, including audiovisual equipment, printers, meeting room setups, and Wi-Fi coverage.
- Maintain a live asset register to track hardware inventory, user assignments, and equipment condition.
- Establish standardized IT operating procedures for device setup, onboarding, offboarding, and asset management.
- Manage vendor and ISP relationships, including performance reviews and contract renewals.
- Oversee IT budget forecasting and hardware lifecycle planning.
- Initiate and lead IT initiatives such as infrastructure upgrades, network improvements, and onsite event support.
- Supervise junior IT personnel, interns, or external contractors as necessary.
- Lead compliance reviews for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and prepare technical documentation as required.
- Perform additional related duties as needed to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations or infrastructure management with demonstrated lifecycle ownership.
- Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and office network configurations (including routers, switches, and cabling).
- Strong capability in establishing standard operating procedures, managing IT asset inventories, and handling vendor contracts.
- Preferred knowledge of basic endpoint security practices, including patching cadence, multi-factor authentication, and antivirus enforcement.
- Experience with management tools such as Snipe-IT or Lansweeper.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
- An understanding of cloud-hosted systems, such as AWS.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards.
