Role & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct the IT department by managing team performance, setting clear priorities, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical outcomes.
- Innovation Roadmap: Shape and execute the company's technology strategy, specifically targeting advancements in business applications, process automation, and AI integration.
- Project Governance: Take full ownership of digital initiatives from initial discovery and scoping through to final implementation and post-launch review.
- Application Management: Oversee the lifecycle and performance of core business systems to ensure they remain scalable and aligned with commercial objectives.
- Efficiency & AI: Proactively identify automation opportunities and leverage AI tools to enhance operational productivity and data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to convert complex business requirements into robust, high-performance technology solutions.
- Quality & Standards: Establish and maintain best practices for systems management, IT governance, and continuous process improvement.
- Risk & Reporting: Monitor project risks and system health, providing transparent updates and performance metrics to executive management.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a high-achieving technical team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a progressive IT or digital leadership role.
- Execution: A proven track record of managing end-to-end technology projects and digital transformations.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders with sound commercial awareness.
- Forward-Thinking: A strong interest in-or direct exposure to-AI, workflow automation, and data analytics.
