The Company

Our client is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) in the medtech, consumer electronics, and automotive sectors. Headquartered in Singapore, they also have manufacturing facilities in China, India, Thailand and Vietnam. With over 500 engineers, they provide leading edge solutions to solve their clients challenges.

The Role

This role is responsible for managing the Company's end-to-end IT infrastructure, enterprise systems and operations across all regional sites. The IT manager ensures secure, stable and scalable IT environments that support the Company's business operations. This role also plays a key role in supporting the rollout of digital and AI initiatives under the Company's transformation plan.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Infrastructure Management and Operations

  • To manage IT operations across regional sites to ensure system availability, security, and performance.
  • To oversee network infrastructure, cloud services, and data centre operations.
  • To establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures for system backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
  • To supervise vendor and contracts for IT hardware, software, and managed services.

2. End User Computing (EUC) & Technical Support

  • To handle end-user support function to ensure reliable access to devices, systems, and applications.
  • To manage endpoint security, IT asset lifecycle, and standardization of equipment and software.
  • To drive digital productivity improvement through Microsoft 365, Copilot, and Power Platform.

3. Enterprise Systems Administration

  • To oversee the administration, integration, and optimization of ERP, M365 services, and Supply Chain Management System.
  • To coordinate with business and production teams to align enterprise system processes with operational workflows.
  • To plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with functional owners.

4. AI & Digital Project Implementation

  • To support the deployment of AI-enabled solutions for process automation, predictive maintenance, and performance analytics.
  • To collaborate with engineering and data teams to integrate AI capabilities within enterprise systems.
  • To provide technical readiness, infrastructure, and security support for AI rollout across sites.

5. Governance, Security & Compliance

  • To ensure compliance with company policies, cybersecurity standards, and local data protection regulations.
  • To maintain system logs, access control, and audit trails to meet internal and external audit requirements.
  • To provide support during customer IT audits

6. Regional IT Support & Collaboration

  • To provide on-site and remote IT support to regional facilities.
  • To coordinate regional IT projects, ensuring alignment with global standards and management directives.
  • Travel to regional sites for project implementation, system audits, and technical training.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 4 to 5 years of IT management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking, ERP systems, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Familiarity with Copilot, Power Platform, and Cloud administration environments.
  • Experience in managing multi-site IT operations and delivering regional technology projects.
  • Understanding of AI systems, data analytics, or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultural teams.
  • Able to travel regionally for project and operational support.
