We are partnering with a growing financial services firm to hire an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to support and manage its regional IT infrastructure and end-user environment. Key Responsibilities
As the IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT systems and user support, including:
- Providing first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Managing user accounts, access rights, and onboarding/offboarding processes
- Maintaining IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure)
- Supporting business-critical applications, including trading and portfolio management systems
- Monitoring system performance, performing patching and upgrades, and ensuring overall system reliability
- Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls, policies, and compliance standards
- Leading or supporting IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement initiatives
- Coordinating with vendors and managing IT assets, licensing, and procurement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support or infrastructure experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows and/or Linux servers, Microsoft 365, and cloud platforms such as Azure
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (VPN, firewalls, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, access controls, and endpoint protection
- Experience supporting enterprise or financial systems is advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
