IT Infrastructure manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Oversight

• Oversee school platforms and systems, ensuring alignment with school priorities and the digital strategy.
• Evaluate performance, usability and integration, recommending adoption, upgrades or replacement where needed.

Network Administration

• Maintain a reliable, efficient ICT network.
• Monitor equipment and maintain network maps, inventories and maintenance schedules.

Technical Support

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and user guidance across the school.
• Configure and maintain hardware, software, servers, firewalls and peripherals.
• Manage preventive maintenance, backups and upgrades, and provide regular status reports.

Operational Effectiveness

• Lead the IT Support team and oversee system reliability, updates and issue resolution.
• Establish clear system ownership, access permissions and data management practices.
• Promote consistent platform use across the school.

Academic Partnership

• Partner with academic leaders to support teaching, learning, assessment and reporting.
• Improve workflows and platform use through staff feedback and appropriate safeguards.

Project Management

• Lead system implementations, upgrades and transitions, managing timelines, risks, vendors, communications and training.
• Minimise disruption through effective change management.

Data, Compliance and Risk

• Support data protection, safeguarding, regulatory reporting and inspection readiness.
• Maintain appropriate data accuracy, security and access controls.

Training and User Adoption

• Oversee staff training and develop guidance to promote effective, consistent and responsible system use.

Continuous Improvement

• Review systems regularly, identify automation opportunities and recommend improvements informed by developments in education technology.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years Experience
• Both Systems and nNetworking
• Troubleshooting and Configuration experience required
• Involve in to Procurement of devices.
• Involve in to Data Center design environment.
• Windows, Fortinet, Firewalls, Access points
