Provide 1st and 2nd level support for infrastructure systems and network
Provide day-to-day monitoring and health checks - checking of system performance and managed servers (VMware/Windows/Linux)
Provide system administration, configuration, setup, and troubleshoot on operating systems (VMware/Windows/Linux)
Implementation of IT Security Solutions is a good to have
Manage and co-ordinate hardware and software changes related to upgrade, new setup and change management
Perform the configuration and installation of various Application, Databases
Perform maintenance and system upgrades including service pack, patching, hotfixes and security configuration
Ensure systems availability and reliability using maintenance monitoring & alerting tool
Monitor system resources utilisation, trending and conduct capacity planning
Ensure compliance to technology standards, procedures and guidelines
Perform periodic maintenance of servers and assist in projects implementation, including working with internal teams
Provide day-to-day backup jobs maintenance
Provide Microsoft SQL Server database maintenance and support
Provide administration and troubleshoot on Citrix system
Ensure business as usual (BAU) processes are followed
Requirements
Minimally a Diploma in Information Technology and/or any other related field
At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
Experience with implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Windows and Linux systems
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory (AD), File, Print, Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Client, Cluster, Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database maintenance and support
Experience with VMware virtualisation technologies including vSphere, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager
Experience with Citrix XenApp and Netscaler
Proficient understanding of IT security risk, threat and prevention measure
Knowledge of supporting backup systems
Experience with Veritas NetBackup will be a plus
Knowledge of supporting storage systems will be a plus
Knowledge of supporting Network and Firewall will be a plus
Demonstrates the ability to perform incident investigations and root cause analysis, and delivering a quality operation to the users
Possesses initiative and the ability to work independently and proactively
