We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Governance & Audit Coordinator to support audit and governance engagements across the organization. This role will act as the liaison between the Governance team and supporting teams throughout the audit lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of documentation, responses, and compliance requirements.
Act as the liaison between the Governance team and supporting teams throughout the audit cycle
Provide administrative and project management support for audit and governance-related engagements
Track, manage, and monitor the status of critical tasks and deliverables
Coordinate and submit required data and documentation
Perform sanity checks on internal responses to ensure alignment with auditor requests and appropriate level of detail
Manage data gathering required to close out audit engagements
Ensure teams are aware of upcoming deliverables, deadlines, and potential findings/issues
Monitor responsiveness and follow up with appropriate management when necessary
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of audits with clear visibility into status and progress
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Information Technology
1-2 years of experience in a Banking and/or Financial Services environment preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing)
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Process-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures including documentation management and record keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of IT Security principles
Strong communication and coordination skills
