Provide comprehensive IT operations, setup, and support services, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, printers, and end-user assistance.
Maintain and manage IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal system performance.
Implement and monitor backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and cybersecurity controls, ensuring regular testing and compliance.
Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
Deliver prompt and effective technical support to all staff members.
Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including IT asset issuance and recovery, hardware/software setup, and user account management (creation, modification, and deletion of system and email accounts).
Maintain accurate IT inventory records and software licensing, ensuring all assets are properly tracked and well maintained.
Manage and update the company website and social media platforms.
Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers, monitoring service delivery and performance for both hardware and software solutions.
Stay updated on emerging IT trends, cybersecurity risks, and incident response practices to enhance organizational resilience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external IT-related matters.
Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT support and system maintenance.
Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in the maritime industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems management, and industry best practices.
Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
Candidates available to commence work on short notice will be preferred.
