Job Overview

We are seeking an Executive (Informatics) to support IT and automation initiatives within pharmacy operations. The role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and management of pharmacy-related IT systems and projects, ensuring smooth system functionality and efficient, patient-centred workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Assist in the planning, testing, implementation, and documentation of IT and automation projects.

• Support coordination between users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure project requirements align with organisational objectives.

• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and system enhancements.

Health Information Management

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of databases supporting pharmacy operations.

• Perform system testing based on operational workflows and requirements.

• Generate scheduled and ad-hoc data reports for management and departmental users.

• Support development of data reports and dashboards for operational insights.

End-User Support

• Provide first-level support for pharmacy system issues and troubleshoot user problems.

• Liaise with relevant IT personnel or vendors for system resolution.

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for system users.

• Coordinate IT-related assets and system activities within the department.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational processes and optimize system usage.

General

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree with interest in IT systems and automation.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT systems within healthcare settings will be advantageous.

• Proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, Power Query).

• Familiarity with data extraction and analysis tools (e.g. SQL) is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

• Willing to support system deployments during off-peak hours when required.
