IT Executive

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational readiness of PCs, IBM i-series server, and other IOT equipment.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems related to computer software and hardware.
• Attend to calls, chat messaging, email, and/or other communication from users with regards to IT matters.
• Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or verbal instructions.
• Collaborates with vendors to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs.
• Arrange maintenance service by software and/or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
• Maintain operational readiness of CCTV system, telephone system, attendance logging equipment and other duties as may be assigned by superior.

• Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
• Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant office software.
• Knowledge of IBM i-series server is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in English/Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking personnel.
• Singaporean or Permanent resident preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Relevant academic education in Computer Science or related field.
• Two to three years of experience in IT industry is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift heavy objects, eg. PC and printers
