Key Responsibilities
1. End-User Support
- Deliver timely technical support for endpoints and peripheral devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and technical support.
2. Endpoint Management (Microsoft Intune)
- Manage device enrolment, compliance policies, and application deployment through Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor device health and enforce security baselines.
- Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) implementation and troubleshooting.
3. Server Room Management
- Monitor and maintain servers, storage systems, UPS, and backup infrastructure.
- Ensure proper cooling, power supply, and physical security of server room facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
4. Access Control Systems
- Administer and maintain door access systems and related hardware/software.
- Configure user access permissions and resolve access-related issues.
5. Meeting Room & Video Conferencing Systems
- Manage and maintain meeting room booking systems.
- Ensure video conferencing platforms (e.g., MS Teams) are fully operational and integrated with room equipment.
- Provide on-site support for audio-visual systems during meetings and corporate events.
6. Network & Connectivity
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, and routers.
- Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing network connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize bandwidth utilization.
7. Firewall & Security
- Configure and manage firewall policies to protect network infrastructure.
- Monitor for potential security threats and deploy necessary patches and updates.
- Collaborate with appointed SOC vendors on incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
8. Security Governance
- Support the implementation and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Seek approval from CISO/GISO for security-related changes and implementations.
9. Asset Management
- Maintain accurate inventory of all IT assets.
- Ensure proper asset tagging and documentation.
- Track asset lifecycle, including warranties and renewals.
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty support, and secure disposal of retired assets.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT assets, configurations, and incidents.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, security posture, and operational status.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, networking protocols, and firewall configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint security management.
- Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization technologies, and backup solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
