Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including vSAN, NSX, vCenter, and SDDC Manager.
- Configure and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for application hosting.
- Automate resource provisioning and application deployments using Aria Automation and GitLab CI.
- Manage Linux/Windows server environments and web servers like Tomcat, Apache, and IIS.
- Monitor system health, performance, and resource usage in cloud and container environments.
- Implement and oversee security hardening practices and security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS).
- Collaborate with HQ and government CISO teams to address operational issues
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Tanzu, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Expertise in administering Linux/Windows servers and web server platforms.
- Experience with cloud/container monitoring tools (e.g.,Prometheus, Grafana).
- Solid understanding of IT security, including hardening and testing methodologies.
