IT Engineer

Background of Company

Penguin Securities Holdings Pte. Ltd. is a new Digital Asset Securities Company which is planning to obtain the relevant licenses from MAS to offer structured Digital Asset products to institutional clients. Company is now searching for a motivated and experienced IT engineer (lead engineer) in DPT(Digital Payment Token)/DPT Derivatives space to design/develop a robust systems that covers the trade life cycles and to ensure secure and scalable business/trading activities complying with the regulatory requirements. Dynamic and fast-growing team with strong management, IT/Technology will play a significant role within our company as we plan to provide financial products using Digital Assets under the secure and safe platform.

Job Descriptions

This IT engineer role is mainly responsible to design, develop and implement the system which supports end-to-end process for DPT(mainly crypto)/DPT derivatives products and trading activities by working closely with Trading/Structuring, Operations and Compliance/Risk. This role is also expected to work closely with external exchanges/wallet systems/vendors to implement market access/transmission system/vendor systems and to provide ongoing support for the business. We also plan to scale our business/ infrastructure to support traditional capital markets products(FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Commodities) thus experience and knowledge in these areas will be a plus.

Job Requirements

5 years or above experience in IT Engineer/Development role in the financial service industry, financial system vendors or from tech firms who has worked closely with financial institutions.

Good experience in defining system requirements, platform design, development, testing and implementation in following applications or modules:

1. EMS/OMS and position management system (front end/backend and database development)

2. Connectivity layer into external exchanges/wallets and respective risk management systems

3. Client/Account management system (client information, account information, transaction database) and booking systems.

4. Connectivity layer into external KYC/AML platforms

5. Derivative risk management tools (or customizing external vendor systems)

Strong IT analytical, coding, documentation and communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Team player and collaborate with cross functional teams including Trading/Structuring/Operations/Compliance/Risk teams etc to drive innovations or operational efficiencies.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Good knowledge of crypto/crypto wallets/crypto exchanges (or interest/passion in crypto trading)

Development experience using cloud platforms.

• High personal standard of integrity, ethics, and commitment to fulfilling the objectives of the position and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in IT vendor management is an added advantage.

Salary range/benefits:

Base Salary: S$80,000100,000 per year, depending on exprience.

Staff(and family) will be entitled for Employee Insurance package.

Will be eligible for stock options based on performance.
