IT Engineer

This role is mostly focused on maintaining and upgrading the engineering EDA infrastructure, working with R&D teams closely on all IT-related issues, developing and optimizing EDA flows and build up in-house tool.

Responsibilities:

. Install, upgrade EDA tools and licenses, monitors LSF farm and code server closely and debug the issues instantly.

. Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuously deploy pipelines.

. Work on Linux backend to assist in develop shell scripts for automation, manage cronjobs, help in the development of Engineering applications in the PHP/MySQL (MariaDB)/Apache when necessary.

. Provide limited EDA tool support.

. Perform all security/compliance functions for code version control and user database. Reinforce IT security policy in all flows, stay vigilant with all IT incidents.

. Work with remote folks, identify technical issues with R&D flows, workout permanent solution or workaround for RD teams. Provide IT guidance to RD staff.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience directly related to the duties specified above in an IT environment.

. Good Communicator, strong analytical and problem solving skills.

. Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environment. Familiar with SGE/LSF job scheduler.

. Working knowledge of EDA license management.

. Working knowledge of EDA software administration and installation.

. High script skills, willing to learn new stuff.

. Good knowledge of version control software, such as Git/Gerrit/Jenkins/ClearCase.
