IT Consultant (1 year Contract, Renewable)

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join us as a Consultant to champion, lead and oversee IT projects and infrastructure.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead and oversee IT projectsand systems enhancement for the Foundation including but not limited to:
o Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
o Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
o Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
o Human Resources Management (HRM)
o IT Infrastructure
o IT Outsourcedo Vendor Management
o Cybersecurity Advisory

Serve as the primary advisor to management on IT matters, providing strategic and operational guidance.

Partner department heads and key users to identify operational needs and translates them into systems and technology requirements

Define project scope, manage IT budget, timelines, and the approval processes, ensuring delivery within agreed objectives

Liaise with service providers and vendors to ensure successful implementation, integration and handover of systems

Manage IT service provider to ensure effective service delivery, SLA compliance, and continuous service improvement

Advise management on IT-related risks, system optimization opportunities, cybersecurity posture, and industry best practices

Review, update, and maintain IT Policies & Procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, governance standards, and organizational objectives.

Draft RFPs, RFQs, and Tender Requirements for IT hardware, software, cloud solutions, and IT services, including technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements.

Support tender evaluation, vendor clarifications, and recommendations in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Lead and drive the Foundation's AI strategy and initiatives, including:

o Identifying and prioritizing AI and automation use cases
o Overseeing pilot and implementation of AI solutions
o Establishing AI governance, risk management, and ethical guidelines

Requirement

. Degree in Information Technology or related discipline

. Proven experience in IT consulting, IT project management, systems implementation, and managing outsource IT service providers

. Demonstrated experience in drafting RFPs/ tender documents and supporting IT procurement processes

. Exposure to or experience in AI, data, automation, or digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable

. Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work independently and engage senior stakeholders

. Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, problem solving, and decision-making skills

. Experience in preparing proposals to request government funding for IT and digital initiatives
