Job Description:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate technology releases across multiple systems, ensuring smooth deployment, proper rollback planning, and minimal risk to production services.
- Enforce release management policies, role segregation, and regulatory standards, ensuring all releases are reviewed, approved, and executed in line with BCS and industry requirements.
- Work closely with development, QA, operations, project managers, and external parties to align dependencies, resolve conflicts, and communicate release plans and status clearly.
- Track release KPIs, perform post-implementation reviews, analyse trends, and drive improvements to release management processes to enhance system resilience and service stability.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in release management or IT service management.
- Strong understanding of ITIL / ITSM frameworks, software development life cycles, and release methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
- Experience using release and change management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, and code repositories / DevSecOps pipelines (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket, AWS CodePipeline).
