Job Description

Job Summary

The Site IT Business Partner (ITBP) serves as the primary liaison between business functions and IT, ensuring effective delivery of IT services, support, and technology solutions for the Singapore site. The role is responsible for aligning business requirements with IT capabilities, coordinating local IT operations, supporting GMP systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ITBP works closely with business stakeholders, corporate IT teams, and external vendors to ensure stable, compliant, and efficient IT services that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary IT contact for assigned business functions.
  • Understand business processes, requirements, and challenges.
  • Translate business needs into IT solutions and service requests.
  • Build strong relationships with department leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Support business-driven technology initiatives and improvements.

IT Service Management

  • Coordinate delivery of daily IT services and end-user support.
  • Monitor service requests, incidents, and problem tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track SLA performance and user satisfaction.
  • Escalate critical issues to Site ITBP Head or relevant support teams.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.

Infrastructure & Workplace Services

  • Support and coordinate local IT infrastructure services
  • Participate in infrastructure deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.

GMP Systems Support

  • Support IT activities related to GMP-regulated systems.
  • Coordinate system access management, account administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with system validation, periodic reviews, change controls, and audit activities.
  • Work closely with QA, QC, Manufacturing, and Validation teams.

IT Projects & Digitalization

  • Support local and global IT project implementations.
  • Gather business requirements and coordinate project activities.
  • Assist in deployment of new applications, infrastructure, and digital solutions.
  • Promote adoption of collaboration and productivity tools.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Support implementation of cybersecurity policies and controls.
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, and security compliance activities.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness among site users.

Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
  • Follow up on project activities, support cases, and service delivery issues.
  • Monitor vendor performance and report concerns to Site ITBP Head.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, inventories, and support records.
  • Prepare operational reports and project updates.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities.
  • Ensure documentation complies with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of IT experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, manufacturing, or GMP-regulated environments is preferred.
