Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst who will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear requirement gathering, documentation, and alignment throughout the development lifecycle of transaction banking project capabilities.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Must have 5-8 years of experience as a IT Business Analyst
- Basic understanding of banking operations
- Good understanding of IT development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in requirement documentation and process mapping
- Must have familiarity with transaction banking concepts (payments, corporate banking services)
- Exposure to digital payments or real-time payment systems
- Ability to work with technical teams and understand system flows, APIs, and integration concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
Desired Skill-set
- Prior experience in banking or financial services projects
- Experience working on payment systems or corporate banking platforms
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Transaction banking services
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (transaction banking, operations) to understand needs and translate them into clear specifications
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), and process flows
- Support gap analysis, impact assessment, and solution design discussions
- Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case preparation and defect tracking
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal banking standards where applicable
- Provide ongoing support during the development phase and assist in issue resolution.
