Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders, underwriters, and product owners to understand requirements.
  • Lead requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Work on underwriting workflows, rating, quoting, and policy lifecycle processes.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams for portal design and user experience improvements.
  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements and alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong experience in P&C Insurance, especially Underwriting.
  • Hands-on experience with digital portals, broker portals, or customer portals.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and articulation skills.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Figma.
