IT Assistant Manager (Construction Firm)

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VPN, servers, storage, and backup systems for head office and project sites.
• Plan and deploy end-to-end IT infrastructure for new project sites, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely readiness.
• Establish, implement, and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, SOPs, and security standards in line with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and oversee outsourced IT Helpdesk teams, ensuring service levels are met and issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Manage IT vendors, procurement, contracts, licensing, and maintain accurate IT asset inventories across all locations.
• Implement cybersecurity controls, conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments, and mitigate IT risks.
• Provide technical oversight and support for infrastructure, hardware, software, and network issues, including escalation handling.
• Support business continuity by responding to critical incidents and providing availability during planned or unplanned non-office hours when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT Manager or Assistant Manager role
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure (networking, servers, cloud), governance, SOP development, and cybersecurity best practices

• Location: Central
• Working hours: 5 Days
• Salary: up to S$10,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
