The IT Assistant provides essential hardware and software support, troubleshoots system and application issues, and assists with API and database-related tasks. This role ensures smooth internal operations by maintaining system stability, supporting integrations, and helping resolve technical faults efficiently. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude in handling day-to-day IT needs.
Key Responsibilities
. Strong understanding of APIs (RESTful services, JSON, XML, authentication methods such as OAuth, API keys)
. Solid hardware knowledge (PCs, laptops, networking basics)
. Strong software knowledge (Windows, databases, applications, system tools, installation)
. Experience troubleshooting system, application, and integration issues
. Ability to read and understand technical documentation
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
. Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned
Requirements
. Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
. Possess strong troubleshooting and good problem-solving IT skills in relation to diagnosing and solving both technical hardware/software faults.
. Preferably with work knowledge on SAP B1 SDK or C# web database programming
. Work Knowledge on MS SQL and MySQL (Stored procedure)
Preferred Skills
. 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
. Experience with SAP Business One specifically Service Layer
. Knowledge of ERP system integrations
. Experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
. Familiarity with databases (SQL Server, or similar)
. Experience with cloud services or integration platforms
. Good Interpersonal relationships and observing discretion for sensitive data and information
. Ability to communicate at all levels
. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
. Adaptability and flexibility
. Highly motivated and hardworking with positive attitude
