Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, asset management, or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Experience with IT asset management tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to IT procurement and asset management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

IT Procurement Management

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products and services.
  • Sourcing & Acquisition: Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFP/RFI preparation, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the contract lifecycle for IT purchases, including renewals, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with IT leadership and Finance teams to forecast and manage procurement budgets, monitor spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, emerging technologies, and potential suppliers to provide strategic sourcing recommendations.
  • Order Management: Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) for the IT team and track order status, payments, and delivery timelines.

IT Asset Management

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware and software, from acquisition through disposal. Ensure efficient deployment, tracking, maintenance, and end-of-life management.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of physical and digital asset inventories. Manage asset tagging and tracking systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure IT asset management activities comply with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and software licensing obligations.
  • Disposal & Refresh Management: Coordinate the secure and environmentally responsible decommissioning and disposal of obsolete assets. Plan and manage hardware replacement and refresh cycles.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and deliver timely reports and analytics on procurement activities, asset utilization, spending, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and automate procurement and asset management processes.
