IT Application Infrastructure Engineer (System Management Focus)

Role:

. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and applications.

. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems.

. Troubleshoot issues, optimize systems, and implement improvements.

. Collaborate with dev teams, manage deployments, and monitor systems.

. Handle cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), servers, networks, and storage.

. Automate tasks using scripting/tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Bash).

. Support DR/BCP and ensure compliance/security standards are met.

Requirements:

. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in systems engineering/infrastructure.

. Strong Windows or Linux/Unix skills.

. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

. Knowledge of networking, security, and storage.

. Scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.

. Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, automation tools, and monitoring is good.

. Experience with security best practices and compliance.

. Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., AWS Certified, RHCE).

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
