Key Responsibilities

Oversees support services to GIS customers for specific IT service or set of services. Adheres to service management processes and procedures to meet customer service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction.

Completes root cause analysis of outages or incident trends (often working with managed services partner). Approves preventative actions

Using monitoring data analysis of specific IT service or set of services for availability and performance, develops plans to implement recommendations to improve or change technology.

Manages complex problems and outages which are escalated from other team members. Services as technical subject matter expert.

Configures IT technology and executes complex changes while following standard operating procedures and change/release management policies.

Works with vendors and management to develop plans for the life cycle of the product

Ensure that service/product is meeting customer needs and initiates training, documentation and marketing to improve full value of the service/product is realized.

Represent IT Service for change management and enterprise architecture discussions.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view

  • Should have 8 - 10 years of experience in SAP EWM module and at least 2 end to end implementation experience.

  • Experience in designing complex warehouse setup, solutions evaluation, validation, and deployment.

  • Key areas of expertise - Inbound, outbound, replenishment, physical inventory, warehouse automation & RF functionality.

  • Sound knowledge on EWM-PP, EWM-QM and EWM-SD process integration. Nice to have MES system integration knowledge.

  • Vast experience and knowledge on interfaces, should have experience on EDI/IDOC communications between SAP & Non-SAP systems

  • Extensive work experience in Logistics Execution (LE) Module includes Shipping Points, Routes, Leg Determinations, Shipping Point Determination, Picking, Packing.

  • Thorough understanding of industry best business practices and business requirements to effectively use the functionality of SAP WM / EWM Modules.

  • Partnering with key Business and IT stakeholders to outlay the global design of Extended Warehouse Management and delivery of the design globally.

  • Provide system support and maintenance with standards and process set within the Services Delivery model

  • Proven problem-solving, analytical thinking and working effectively in cross-functional teams.
