ISO Tank Operations Executive

Job Descriptions:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely renewal of all trailer road tax, ISO tank periodic inspections, and SCDF Petroleum & Flammable Materials Transport licenses.
• Conduct inspections to ensure trailers and ISO tanks meet customer requirements, cleanliness standards, safety requirements, and roadworthiness standards.
• Ensure ISO tank interior washing and tank supply are completed according to the required schedule and datelines.
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs) for operational activities.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of ISO tanks, trailers, and other operational equipment.
• Ensure inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities of Isotanks, Trailers are completed on schedule and within approved budgets.
• Coordinate with workshops and depots, ensuring clear communication on repair scope, requirements, and timely progress updates.
• Obtain the required approvals for quotations and external workshop repairs, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding ISO tank availability and supply, particularly during periods of increased or surge in volume.
• Participate in regular operations meetings and feedback sessions to align business processes with company policies and staff expectations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and compliance across all operational functions.
• Manage Wash Bay Drivers / Operators discipline, attendance, and tardiness, and follow up on recurring issues where necessary.
• Generate monthly operational reports and ad-hoc reports as required.

Requirements

• ITE Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in ISO tank and trailer operations, handling, or fleet management will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational and time management skills.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO tank, trailer maintenance, periodic inspection, and regulatory requirements will be an advantage.
