IoT Solutions Engineer (Technical)

Company Background

We are a supplier of sanitary ware and bathroom accessories, our main brands we stock include Toto and LOUIS.

Our primary focus lies in the Business to Business (B2B) market and namely the medical sector, with extensive expertise in serving hospitals and nursing homes.

We've also successfully supplied sanitary wares to shopping malls, office buildings, and residential developments.

Another aspect of our business is the Smart Hygiene Management System, an IOT system enabling Facilities Management to virtually manage their toilets via an array of sensors.

IoT Solutions Engineer (Technical)

Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,500 per month

Job descriptions

· Understand project requirements and support the development of practical technical solutions for Smart Hygiene and IoT systems.

· Conduct site surveys and technical assessments, including reviewing floor plans, equipment placement, connectivity, power supply and installation requirements.

· Assist with technical proposals, quotations, product demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (POC) activities.

· Support the installation, configuration, testing, calibration and commissioning of IoT devices, sensors, gateways, smart flush valves and related equipment.

· Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics for hardware, connectivity and system-related issues, coordinating with developers, suppliers and technicians to resolve technical problems.

· Assist in testing new products, hardware and software features, providing feedback for product improvements and system enhancements.

· Coordinate with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation, testing, handover and documentation.

· Review system-generated data and prepare technical reports on water consumption, usage patterns, water savings and system performance.

· Provide technical support to customers, conduct site visits and explain basic system operations to customers and site personnel.

· Maintain technical documentation, testing records and project reports, ensuring systems meet required specifications before handover.

Job requirements & experiences

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related discipline.

· Strong interest in IoT, smart technology, sensors and automation.

· Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

· Comfortable with hardware and technology, and willing to perform site visits, installation, testing and troubleshooting.
